INNERSENSE RECORDINGS launches with an E.P by 3PeaceSweetz.

The 'Risky Bizness E.P' features tracks inspired by the early drum and bass and jungle techno era.

Cut at 45rpm, designed to be played out and played loud, these are 'new school' tracks inspired by the Old School era.

Let’s take you back, to an era where hardcore and an emerging jungle scene reached a holy union; where the iconic smiley had bled into popular culture.

Fast forward a generation, and you’re into the bedrooms of rave culture's younger siblings - where drum and bass now soundtracks a generation of late night PS1 gamers, experiencing a different state of higher consciousness.

Somewhere between sweat-fuelled 90's nightclub floors, and behind millennium kids' wedged-shut doors, emerges the sweet spot of 3PeaceSweetz new EP, a new exploration and expansion of the Y2K vaporjungle sound.

Risky Bizness drops banging ‘if-you-know-you-know’ samples that clamour for a rewind, and rewards the listener with a ride through a time where you knew your mates phone numbers but didn't know what you were having for tea.

The titular track samples Tangerine Dream’s ‘Risky Business’ 80s movie theme but soon dispels it via liquid loops and a chart-topping vocal sample plucked from a well worn 'Now that's what I call Dance' cassette. Elsewhere, classic Korg M1 chords delight and deliver – all that’s missing is an MC to rhyme and riddle over the bassline.

Meanwhile, a remix of ‘Higher Estate’ - originally released by Donor Lens, and in turn inspired by Josh Wink’s frenetic 90's floor filler - becomes a long lost rave artefact, re-found and rewound.

Whether you were there, or want to experience the culture anew, we know you're going to enjoy 'Risky Bizness'. White gloves, whistles and Wallabees are strictly optional - and you can leave your PS1 in your bedroom, too.
